 Fibre Arts Take Two, the fabulous Australian art education group, interviewed me last Friday about the book. It was really fun to be able to talk with them about it. Here is a link to the U tube video.

This past month has been busy dealing with the book and I haven’t had as much studio time as I like. But now I am excited to be able to start working on this new series I’m calling “Morning Light”. The first piece in the series is above. I just finished making the painted, inked, and dyed fabrics and papers to use. So inspiring. I’m pleased to see lighter, more joyful colors emerging and hope that is a sign of what’s to come.

 And there’s more to come. Just up the road from my house, There’s a beautiful field with walking paths. Such a gift to be able to walk there. After some crushing heat, we are finally having gorgeous summer weather with blue skies and temperatures in the high 60s, low 70s – my favorite. I took pictures this morning on my walk, and I can’t wait to see how these images show up some day.
